How a send works

Sync members from The ASHE Wix site (or add a manual contact). Website membership is not SMS consent — new Wix rows stay opted out.
Create a campaign with your event copy, RSVP/https link, and optional image (MMS). Use placeholders like {{name}}.
Preview, then Send. Only opted-in contacts receive the text. STOP / START / HELP are handled automatically and survive later Wix syncs.

Webhooks

Point your Twilio number (or Messaging Service) at these URLs. Use ngrok when running locally.

Header row recommended: phone,name,tags,opted_in. Without opted_in=true, contacts stay opted out.

Placeholders: {{name}} {{event_name}} {{event_date}} {{rsvp_url}}. If the RSVP URL is not already in the body, it is appended. Opt-out language is appended if missing.

Image URLs (one per line, https JPEG/PNG/GIF)

Uploads are hosted at /media/…. For live MMS, Twilio must be able to fetch that URL (set PUBLIC_BASE_URL / ngrok). Combined media must stay under 5 MB. WebP is allowed here but US MMS prefers JPEG/PNG/GIF.
